Irish Art Oslo in collaboration with the Irish Embassy are delighted to present an evening to celebrate the life and times of diplomat, humanitarian activist, Irish nationalist and poet Roger Casement and his links to Norway. This event will be held in English.

Casement, his Norwegian connection and the Easter Rising by historian and author, Bjørn Godøy
Our Kind –A short film by Alan Phelan followed by a Q&A session
Intermission
Casement: British Consul – Humanitarian – Irish Revolutionary
A new play starring Bartholomew Ryan , written by Christabelle Peters and Bartholomew Ryan, directed by Jonathan Weightman.
2016 marks the centenary of the Easter Rising, an armed rebellion of seminal importance in the birth of the modern Irish Nation. Produced by Irish Art Oslo, this event is funded by the Irish Embassy, Norway and is part of the 1916-2016 Centenary Programme
